Dear God,

... I am reading a book called 'For the love of God' ... which is writings about you from many different people. ... this was what I read tonight ... 

"We were able to smile a lot when we were young, but life is so hard that when we grow up, we hardly smile.  I know people who have not smiled for ten or twenty years.  The seeds of the smiles in the depths of their consciousness have not had a chance to rise for a long time.  They only ask, "What is wrong?"  So, asking the questions, "What is right? What is not wrong?"  is a good beginning."

God help me never to forget how to smile ... how to experience your Joy and Life.

"One thing I ask from the Lord,

Dear God,

What am I blogging for ?  What was my purpose?


My evaluating continues ... with clarity appearing between the cracks.

I really want to be creative … do art and make collage postcards ... and I have become a lot distracted by my blogging.

Time to get my focus back ... Time to get to the business of getting my hands dirty

Time to stop listening to all the reasons why not and get back on track!

Hey God,

Being so sick this winter with the flu and sinus has given me the opportunity to reassess.  

What I have come to realize about myself is that ... I like the ideas and planning but suffer in the execution. 

I have also come to realize that I am not a workaholic kind of girl ... I need daydream time and sleep and sunshine time.

They are the boundaries that I have to work within to maintain good balance in my life ... and sustain doing my own business long term.  Yes I can still create and expand within these boundaries.

So here we go again God ... Help me be more understanding of me ... Help me work with the gifts you have created in me ...

this photo from the Hubble Space Telescope NASA amazes me ... you have created an awesome celestial garden

 the wonders that are out there ... your hand on your creation

And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years,  and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so.  God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. I have been consumed lately by the amazing pictures NASA takes of our earth ...

NASA calls us The Water Planet ... "Viewed from space, the most striking feature of our planet is the water. In both liquid and frozen form, it covers 75% of the Earth’s surface. It fills the sky with clouds. Water is practically everywhere on Earth, from inside the planet's rocky crust to inside the cells of the human body."
