I took this photo while I was in the city last weekend ... my first thought was that the church looked out of place ... eclipsed by all the big skyscrapers ... then I started thinking about how things change over time ... how different the landscape now looks ...  how more than ever your place is, right in the middle of it all ... thanks for being my haven ...

... remembering the alligators ...

Dear God,

... I was remembering the alligator feeding time we saw a few weeks ago ... how high these creatures would jump out of the water ... they have such good survival instincts ... I think I might have to learn a thing or two from those alligators ... surprisingly they are quite beautiful creatures ... your creation in all it's diversity keeps me tuned in to how great you are ... thanks for Vision night too, God ... it has inspired me to stand tall and be strong ...

St Mary's Cathedral ...  stunning stain glass windows ... such craftsmanship in the building ... ... thanks God for gifting skilled hands ... thanks God for bringing me to Sydney ... so blessed to be here ... and witness this awesomeness ...
